2021 Nicholson Ranch Sonoma Valley Estate Pinot Noir

Upon the first sniff the 2021 Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir has a lot going on,  Swirl and get sensuous fruit aromas, cranberry, dark cherry with overtones of rose petal and toasted nuts.  The bouquet is spiced with vanilla and caramel reminiscent of Graham crackers followed by the earthy notes of mushroom and tree bark. The flavors follow with strawberry, raspberry, cherry and cranberry.  You get a hint of cinnamon with a slight tinge of graphite towards the finish. This well-built wine will pair nicely with an assortment of charcuterie and cheeses.
