The 2020 Spring Hill Chardonnay is a shimmering golden yellow color, and as you swirl the vibrant aromas of pear, orange blossom, lemon zest, kiwi and hints of jalapeno arouse your sense of smell. The flavors on the palate mimic the lemon, then add lime, sweet and tart Valencia orange, pineapple and caramel. The texture is soft, but the finish is rather explosive and expansive, lingering and lingering. Let’s pair this with well seared scallops, don’t skimp on the butter!
