The 2020 Sonoma Coast Pinot is a beautiful pale ruby color. As you swirl it the aromas are a bit exotic; sour cherry, dried rose petals, currant, eucalyptus and something akin to bramble in the mix. On the palate it’s quite round, plummy even, also cherry, pomegranate, and spicy cinnamon with notes of candy and licorice. A very complex wine, with tannins that creep in on the finish. Serve it along with a grilled salmon with a mustard sauce.
