The 2018 Cactus Hill Pinot Noir has all the distinctive Cactus qualities – concentrated aromas, vibrant flavors and fine balance.  The wine is bright ruby-red in color with aromas of black cherry, rose essence and raspberry liqueur.  You get hints of cinnamon, clove, vanilla and a touch of earthiness as the wine opens up.  On your palate the wine is full-bodied with fruit flavors of peach, cherry, plum and raspberry and spice flavors of bay leaves, cola and root beer.  
This wine is ready to drink now with fruit-forward flavors.  With time it will show more spice and earthy flavors.
