The 2018 777 Pinot Noir has an elegant nose showcasing berry aromas scented with spice.  On the first swirl, aromas of strawberry and cranberry show through accented with cardamom and clove.  As the wine opens up, bolder aromas of cherry and cedar complement the nose.  On the palate the wine has a nice balance of acidity and tannins that showcase the fruit aromas of tart cherry and cranberries.  This wine will pick up body as it ages and it may show best after a year or two of cellaring.
