The 2017 La Colina represents the best attributes of Nicholson Ranch Chardonnays - great aroma, flavor, texture and balance.  Floral aromas of jasmine blend with vanilla and tarragon, followed by the scent of lemon and pineapple and finish with a hint of toast and puff pastry.   This wine is well rounded and smooth with fruit flavors of pear, apple and apricot enticing the palate.  Citrus flavors of lemon, lemon zest and bergamot highlight the brightness and balance the sweet fruit flavor.  Flavors of caramel and butterscotch in the finish resonate with the baking aromas in the nose bringing you back for another sip.
