This vintage of the Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a clear ruby color with a hint of violet.  The wine has intense aromas evident with the first pour. It shows scents of roses and raspberry liqueur with hints of earthiness and spice.  The earthiness is reminiscent of a walk through wild berry bushes in the early morning.  The flavors are of sweet dark cherry and red currants accented with clove and toast.  The smooth texture contributes to the taste of tart raspberry candy that lingers with fruit flavors and floral aromas.
